Hot Air Balloons
CHEM 192 - Spring 2014
Final project in Introductory Chemistry. To study gas laws, students design and build a hot air balloon. These are photos of the balloon flight day. Students also present a poster with diagrams and specifications, air and balloon density calculations, and a theoretical discussion of how balloons fly.
