Puerto Vallarta, Mexico: November 2013
|
Another lovely Thanksgiving with my family in Puerto Vallarta. Twelve of us met up to celebrate the
holiday together. On
Thanksgiving day we had dinner at a restaurant on the beach.

We spent a lot of time poolside.

Another day we had dinner at a restaurant with views overlooking
the city.

The Malecon
(the boardwalk) in downtown Puerto Vallarta that stretches for a mile along
the ocean. Pictured here are
Los Arcos (the arches), the 9 foot statue of a youth riding a seahorse (the
symbol of Puerto Vallarta), other sculptures along the water’s edge,
and some cops on segways.

View from our hotel balcony where
you can see a group doing their morning water aerobics.

Prepping for Christmas beach style.

The main church in little village of Bucerias
located north of Puerto Vallarta.
There are also many shopping stalls where you can buy ceramics,
bags, belts, jewelry, games and lots of other hand crafted items.

My little cousins Madison and Julia in front of Los Arcos off Mismaloya beach in Banderas
Bay.

On the little island in our hotel pool, you could see a couple of
iguanas hanging out.

In downtown Puerto Vallarta is the
Mercado Municipal (the city market) with blocks and blocks of stalls and
shopping.
|
|
Amazing place with lots of stunning
sunsets. It’s always hard
to leave after visiting here.
