Lecture classes take place in completely redesigned and updated technology-driven classrooms that are fully equipped with WiFi, projectors, sound system and DVD players. Lessons are complemented by numerous examples of audio and video.

Broadcasting production students edit their videos on dedicated G5 Final Cut Pro suites in the Multimedia lab (Bldg 27), to which they have full access all day.

Studio courses are held in KCSM’s professional TV studios, while field production students shoot video all over campus and the surrounding community.

Fantastic engineering support from KCSM’s skilled engineers maintain our facility and oversee equipment for academic training. A full time staff keeps everything operating smoothly. Qualified broadcasting students are also eligible to work as interns at KCSM so they can begin getting professional experience while taking classes.

See KCSM’s website: http://www.kcsm.org/index.html for more info on the station. Students interested in internship opportunities should contact Dante Betteo at KCSM.
