Mine's parts of speech web search

The following website consists of four major categories:

Parts of Speech Table

Parts of Speech Examples

Words with More than One Job

Parts of Speech Quiz

The first one summarizes the 8 parts of speech. Students can simply click on the parts of speech they would like to learn/study/review and this will take them to another page (unfortunately does not open in a new tab) in which they can learn more about the use and take quizzes related to the subject. They can find some example sentences. The third part raises awareness on how one word might be more than one part of speech, and gives examples.  The last part provides students with a quiz that helps them to check their understanding of what has been studied in that website so far.

The following website provides a quiz that can be done as a printable handout that they can print out and mark on the paper. It does not allow marking online when chosen as a printable handout. They can also choose the option ÒAs an online quizÓ (as shown below), and this way they can mark on it and by pressing on the grade button they can learn how they did on the quiz. They also have access to the answer key (as shown below)

The following website is good for all grammar subjects. It does not have a section under the title Òparts of speechÓ; instead it gives detailed information on how to use each part of speech and provides several examples of their uses. Students need to sign up free to take the quizzes and tests, and this way they can track their own development.
