The Tutor's Code of Conduct
Maintain Confidentiality
- Tutoring activities are private matters and should not be shared with others or made
public in any way without a Student's permission.
- The only exceptions are discussions of a Student's issues with the tutoring supervisor.
- Breaking confidentiality can undermine the Student's progress and harm the tutoring
relationship.
- Students should be appraised of the confidentiality rules of their school's Tutor Program at
the
start of tutoring.
