The Tutor's Code of Conduct Have Respect for Students as
Persons
Students come to tutoring with a vast diversity of backgrounds, experiences, expectations,
and habits. Tutors and Students are best served when the Tutor is open to diversity and willing to
work with unique Student characteristics rather than expecting conformity to the Tutor's points of
view, ways of communicating, and doing school work.
Students who seek tutoring may have deficiencies in their learning skills, but they are not any less
as persons. They deserve respect, particularly for making the extra effort to succeed.
