Stephanie M. Roach is Library Systems and Application Developer at San Mateo County Community College District. She is a professor of library and information science at College of San Mateo. In 2015-2016 she completed a fellowship with Stanford Global Studies Education Partnership for Internationalizing Curriculum Links to an external site., and from 2020-2023 served as an Executive Board Member for their Global Educators Network Links to an external site.. Prior to SMCCD & CSM, she was Librarian and Adjunct Faculty at John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, California.

Stephanie earned her Master of Library and Information Science degree from San Jose State University's School of Information in December 2010. In 2011 she was awarded the Technical Services New Leader Award from the California Library Association where she has served as Chair, and as a member of several committees, including the Steering Committee.

Her professional interests include information literacy; the ethics and social aspects of information creation and use, including use of technology and various media types; social media; and metadata.
