Course Information

1 unit. Credit/No Credit or letter grade.

An introduction to the basic concepts and tools used in information research. Techniques for approaching the research process using critical thinking skills are presented. Prepares students in any major for information research at four-year colleges and universities. NOTE: Students must report to the Reference Desk in the library during the first week of classes to schedule a course orientation. Course is taught in a non-classroom, individualized mode.. Transfer credit: UC; CSU (E1)
