Howdy...My name is Hillary and I'm glad to be in English 800. Very soon now I'll be on my own and I feel it's time to learn how to write credibly. I'm especially looking forward to the vocabulary unit in the class, wherein I understand we'll learn new words such as integrity, ethics, honesty and capitalism.

Ooooh...Hi everyone. My name is Monica and I enrolled in English 800 to meet people and, oh yeah, learn how to write good. With all the publicity I'm getting, I feel I need to speak up for myself, instead of always letting others put words in my mouth.

(in raspy voice, looking down, biting lip as he looks up) I want you to listen to me good...because I'm only going to say this once: I am not going to be attending English 800 on campus; I am, however, glad an online version is being offered, which I will sign up for as soon as I know my new address. I'm also glad that the tuition is only $11 a unit, as I foresee myself pressed for funds.
