Introduction to Hand Massage (WELL 665 SD)
Introduction to beginning massage movements used specifically for the hands. Emphasis on the therapeutic value of non-threatening touch, anatomy of the hands and reflex points that can be stimulated to maintain physical well being.

Introduction to Foot Massage (WELL 665 SE)
Introduction to beginning massage movements used specifically for the feet. Emphasis on the therapeutic value of non-threatening touch, anatomy of the feet and reflex points that can be stimulated to maintain physical well being.

Self-Help Stress Reduction Techniques (WELL 665 SB)
Students will explore self-help healing tools that will help them to center and ground themselves as they open their hearts compassionately. Each participant will leave the class knowing straightforward processes they can follow to achieve balance and clarity in their lives.

Introduction to Herbs (WELL 665 SA)
This short course will explore herbs and ways to use them for health and well-being. Historical background of herbs throughout the ages will be provided along with information for several herbs that can be incorporated into daily life in the form of massage oils, tinctures, poultices, teas, etc. Students will take home massage oils infused with herbs for their own use.

Introduction to Face and Décolleté Massage (WELL 665 SC)
Introduction to massage movements used specifically for the face and décolleté. The course will examine the therapeutic value of non-threatening touch, client safety, anatomy, and proper body mechanics to use while giving a massage.

Introduction to Flower Essences (WELL 665 SH)
Explore the world of flower essences as a viable healing modality used to address emotional issues and body-mind health.  Emphasis on the history of flower essences, methods of preparation, conditions and methods for selecting a particular essence, and flower essence usage.  Students will prepare a personalized flower essence formula.

Introduction to Aromatherapy (WELL 665 SI)
Explore aromatherapy’s healing gifts and the variety of application uses.  Topics include the history of aromatherapy, preparation methods, and the conditions and methods for selecting a particular essential oil.  Students will prepare an essential oil combination in a lotion carrier for their personal use.

Introduction to Gem Elixirs (WELL 665 SJ)
Explore the world of gem elixirs and how to use them along with gem stones as a viable healing modality used to address emotional issues and body-mind health. Learn which elixirs are needed for certain conditions and ways to choose them appropriately.  There will be discussion about the variety of uses available for gem elixirs (oral preparations, environmental sprays, bath stones, or adding to lotions, creams, or carrier oils).  A Crystal Layout of gem stones will be taught, working with the energy system of the body.  Students will prepare a gem elixir for themselves that specifically addresses how they respond to stresses and life challenges.

Introduction to Neck & Shoulder Massage (WELL 665 SF)
Introduction to beginning massage movements used to release stress and tension from the neck and shoulder area.  Emphasis on the therapeutic value of nonthreatening touch, neck and shoulder anatomy, proper hygiene and sanitation, exploration of proper body mechanics, exposure to massage products and contraindications.

Introduction to Back Massage (WELL 665 SG)
Introduction to beginning massage movements used specifically to release stress and tension for the neck and back area.  The course will discuss the therapeutic value on non-threatening touch, the anatomy of the neck and back, proper hygiene and sanitation for the safety of the therapist and recipient.  Students will learn proper posture and body mechanics and be exposed to a variety of products that can be used for massage such as oils, lotions, creams, medicated balms and gels.
